Terms of use

Dudo! lets you play the liar's dice game (also known as Dudo) online for free, against other players or against bots. The Site offers in particular real-time games, a game history and statistics, a friends list, cups to unlock, the rules of the game and strategy tips.

The service is free. It is funded by advertising.

The Site is available free of charge to anyone with internet access. Access costs (equipment, connection) remain your responsibility.

You can play in two ways:

• as a guest: you only choose a username, with no email address or password. The guest account is temporary and is deleted automatically shortly after you log out;
• with an account: you choose a username, an email address and a password. The account keeps your avatar, your statistics, your history, your friends and your cups.

If you are under 15, you must obtain the consent of a parent or holder of parental authority before creating an account.

The Publisher strives to keep the Site available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It may suspend access, in particular for maintenance, updates or in the event of force majeure, without compensation. A game in progress may then be interrupted.

You undertake to provide a valid email address that belongs to you and to keep it up to date. Your password is personal and confidential: you are responsible for keeping it safe and for any use of your account. If you lose it, you can reset it from the login page.

Your username is public: it is visible to other players, in games, friends lists and rankings. It must not infringe the rights of others (another person's name, a trademark) or be offensive, hateful, obscene or misleading. The Publisher may change or refuse a username that does not comply with these rules.

An account is strictly personal. You may delete it at any time from the “My account” page, using the “Delete my account” link.

The game must remain enjoyable for everyone. In particular, it is forbidden:

• to cheat: using several accounts in the same game, colluding with other players, or using software, a script or a bot to play in your place;
• to disrupt games, for example by deliberately and repeatedly leaving or stalling them;
• to harass, insult or threaten other players, or to make discriminatory, hateful or unlawful remarks;
• to impersonate another person, including a member of the Site's team;
• to attempt to access the Site's systems without authorisation, to disrupt their operation, to exploit a vulnerability rather than report it, or to collect its data automatically;
• to use the Site for commercial or advertising purposes without the Publisher's written consent.

If you discover a bug or a vulnerability, please report it via “Report a bug”.

You remain responsible for the content you submit (username, avatar, bug reports). It must not be unlawful or infringe the rights of third parties (image rights, copyright, trademarks). By uploading an avatar, you authorise the Publisher to display it on the Site, solely for the purposes of the service, for the lifetime of your account.

To report unlawful content, write to dudo@akroze.com, specifying the content concerned and the reasons for your report. The Publisher will promptly remove it if it is manifestly unlawful.

In the event of a breach of these Terms, the Publisher may, depending on the seriousness of the facts, issue a warning, change a username or an avatar, remove content, exclude a player from a game, or suspend or delete an account, without notice in the event of a serious breach. You may contest a sanction by writing to dudo@akroze.com.

The Site displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. Advertising cookies are only set with your consent, collected through the “Cookies and advertising” banner; if you decline, no ads are loaded. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookies and advertising” link. Details are given in the privacy policy.

The Publisher is not responsible for the content of the ads or for the websites they link to.

The Site and its elements (code, graphics, logos, texts, cups, sounds) are protected by intellectual property law and belong to the Publisher or to their authors. Any reproduction or reuse without authorisation is prohibited, except for private use.

The rules of the liar's dice game are in the public domain. Perudo® is a trademark belonging to its respective owners; the Site is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by them or their distributors, and the word is only mentioned as a reference to the game.

The Site is provided “as is”, free of charge. The Publisher does not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, nor that results, statistics or cups will be preserved in the event of a technical incident. It cannot be held liable for an interrupted or lost game, for misuse of the Site by a player, or for indirect damage related to its use.

Links to third-party websites are provided for information; the Publisher does not control their content.

The game involves no stakes and no winnings: it is not a gambling game.

The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You may stop using the Site at any time and delete your account from the “My account” page. Deletion erases your account data under the conditions set out in the privacy policy; it is permanent and results in the loss of your statistics, your history, your friends and your cups.

The Publisher may change the Site or discontinue the service; in the latter case, it will inform registered players with reasonable notice.

The Publisher may amend these Terms, in particular to reflect changes to the Site or to the regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a significant change, registered players will be informed on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after the update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a difficulty, please first contact the Publisher at dudo@akroze.com in order to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts, in compliance with the protective rules you benefit from as a consumer.

If any clause is declared invalid, the other clauses remain applicable.
